Patience, Pizza is coming
Our Orchestra conductor, Mrs. Speltz,
is having more social
outings
events for the kids this year to make orchestra a
lot more fun.
Here is one of these outings:
La Canada Bass group joined the LA BASS Master Day:
Students brought their
basses and went to play with the
Masters: There were different
workshops for both less experienced and more
experienced students.
The students spent
an hour with each of the 4 teachers,
two of whom teach jazz and two who teach
classical. Everyone
played, and at the end of
the day students and masters
played a mass bass choir.
The workshop took place
at Santa Monica high school.
It was a great success and was attended by almost 50
students, who were proud to play with the masters.
