Poinsettia Sale Information

CONGRATULATIONS! We sold over 740 poinsettia plants! That’s amazing! Thank you!

Delivery will be on Thursday, December 10th in the Band parking lot at the corner of Oak Grove and Foothill from 3pm to 6pm.

We have three times at which YOU can help:

  1. Unloading delivery approximately 10am to 12 noon.
  2. Pick-up time from 3pm to 6pm.
  3. Making deliveries in town anytime between 1pm and 6pm.

Please remember we must abide by all safety precautions during delivery and pick-up!

Ms. Munday’s News & Notes…

As we move into the Holiday Season, I am looking back at our semester online. I am filled with admiration and gratitude for the students. They are showing up and engaging with music and school as it is. Their resilience and steadfastness in the face of disruption to their lives makes me super proud of them. They are heroes! Thank you, parents, for caring and watching out for them. You are heroes, too!

Boost-A-Thon

“Boost-A-Thon: La Canada’s Got Talent” is a virtual fundraising event premiering on YouTube.

The 2-hour show will feature LCHS and 7/8 student performances in music, choral, theatre, comedy videos, sports highlights, and more. Please mark your calendars!

If your students haven’t yet sent in their film clips and sports highlights for Boost-a-thon, we‘ve extended the deadline to Monday December 7th. After that, we can’t guarantee consideration for the show.

Please go to www.Boostathon.com and click UPLOAD to submit your videos.
Make short videos (15 seconds to 1 minute in length) with your iPhone or home video camera and send us the digital files as MP4 or QuickTime Movie. Please click here for ideas on what to film and more detailed instructions.

Despite the uncertain environment, the Booster Club is determined to continue its mission.

NY Trip Cancelled

Carnegie Hall has announced that they will be closed through April. With that news and the still present uncertainty with the COVID pandemic, we are cancelling the NY Trip for this year.

Anyone on the trip list at this time, will receive a $200 voucher for a future trip (transferable if needed) and then the remaining balance will come back as a refund. For example, if you have $2000 paid towards the trip, you would receive a $200 voucher and then get back $1800. We are already planning our 2022 trip to Ireland, so you can use those vouchers for that trip.
