Championships – Parent Hotel Block

If you are thinking about traveling to Clovis for the WBA Championships in November, now is the time to reserve your room in the parent block of rooms! (Championships are November 22nd-24th.)

We have reserved a group of 10 rooms at Homewood Suites for parents. The group rate is $159/night. The band will be staying just across the driveway at Hampton Inn.

Handbook

  • Please read:  it has all the info and program requirements that you will want to know including grading, performances, and needed donations.
  • Please complete, sign, and return the Handbook Agreement Form.
  • Please put all the dates on your calendar — all the football games, concerts, competitions, etc. are on that list for the 2019-20 school year.

Volunteers Needed

Family BBQ/Preview Night

We will need several helpers to help setup and serve at the Family BBQ on Friday, August 9th. Please contact Nadia Ali, our Special Events Coordinator, and let her know if you can help. Setup time will be at 4pm in front of the North Gym.

Uniform Fittings

Uniforms will arrive back on Monday, August 12th. We will start uniform fittings on Tuesday, August 13th at 3:30pm for Seniors and Juniors, and on Thursday, August 15th at 3:30pm for Sophomores and Freshmen. We’ll hopefully be moved back to the Band room by then, keep your fingers crossed.

If you are available to help fit uniforms – it’s easy, no experience required and no sewing required – but maybe a little ironing… Please let Sandy know. The more helpers we have, the quicker the fittings go.

Preview Night and Family BBQ

Preview Night and Family BBQ

August 9th

5pm: BBQ in front of North Gym

6pm: Performance at the Stadium

Upon completion of our two weeks of intensive rehearsals (including Band Camp), on Friday, August 9th, we will be giving everyone a sneak peek of the opening number to Synthesia: The Sound of Color.

We will also be having a wonderful time of community and food with our BBQ cookout grilled by LCHS’s own Mr. Dan Yoder. We will have the meal in front of the North Gym beginning at 5pm.

The show will begin on the field roughly around 6pm. Be sure to buy your tickets soon. You can find the ticket order form in the Registration form. Band and Color Guard Members do not need to buy a meal, but all others do.

Come celebrate your children’s efforts and have a delicious tri-tip sandwich (or vegetarian alternative) from Grillmaster Yoder.

  • All 7-12 lockers must be cleaned out and locks removed. If you wish to keep your current locker, fill out this form.
  • Locks remaining will be cut off on June 6th.

Graduation

  • 9-11 grades Band will perform
  • Call time: 5:45pm with instruments and music on the field
  • Dress nicely
  • Graduation begins at 6:30pm at the stadium
