21st Annual Celebrate Music Dinner Show & Fundraising Gala

The 9-12 Dinner Show will be held at the La Canada Country Club on Saturday, February 22nd and will begin at 5:30pm.

A delicious dinner, silent auction, live auction, and performances by each of our 9-12 groups. It’ll be a great evening of food, friendship, and fantastic music. Please join us!

Tickets are $100 adults, $35 students, $25 for performing students, and $15 for the After Party.

All persons attending the Dinner Show must purchase a ticket. Please pre-purchase… Walk-in tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and will NOT guarantee a seat.

Sponsorships

Please consider becoming a sponsor to the Instrumental Music Program… It’s a donation to the best program on campus! It’s not too late to purchase a sponsorship (however, you will not receive recognition in the program) and it’s the only way to have reserved seating!

By becoming a sponsor, your seat will be reserved at the Dinner Show. This is the only way to reserve seats at the show.

Raffle tickets are available but they’re going fast! Cost is one ticket for $5 or 5 tickets for $20.

We have some great prizes and you don’t have to be present to win! So let’s get selling. All of these proceeds will go towards the fundraising of the Dinner Show.

7/8 to Disneyland

Just nine days to go! On February 25th, all 7/8 Band and Orchestra students will be traveling to Disneyland, which means NOW is the time to turn in your field trip form and $100 which covers Disneyland entrance, transportation, and the recording session.

7/8 students will rehearse and record various tracks of Disney movie scenes and be conducted by a Disney recording session conductor! All checks should be made payable to “LCHS MPA.”

Concerto Concert Performers Announced

Congratulations to ALL of the students who auditioned for the Concerto Concert. We have such talented students in our program!

The performers for the 2020 Concerto Concert will be:

Ms. Munday’s News & Notes…

It’s always good to get away in nature. Last weekend, the Orchestra spent a beautiful and rewarding few days at our annual Winter Retreat high in the San Gabriel mountains. It’s a great opportunity for the students to get away from everyday life and focus on music and the great outdoors. I was heartened to see lots of students enjoying nature and also enjoying each other’s company.

I want to thank our Courageous Chaperones! They are the backbone of this adventure! Thank you to Julia Dixon, Yvonne Lim, Rose Malmberg, and Julie Pao. Also, thank you to Glenn and Robert Torres for driving the truck!
